Don't Fight The Feeling.
I am going to take it back a little and say this: I would rather have fought the fight. I did not take back the fact that fighting is probably the smartest and best thing that I have ever done, but fighting was out of my hands. Don't Fight the Feeling. I did not fight the cancer. I did not fight for my family. I did not fight for myself. So to the people who are fighting a fight today and have to fight. Fight for yourself. Take care of yourself. Get your job done. Do not feel guilty. Stop worrying about your finances. Get a job. Work out. Get some medication. Take a break and stop thinking. Because I have fought and survived, the biggest thing is not feeling guilty about that, it is not thinking about that. I am taking my life back, I am taking my family back, and I can feel that it is worth it now.

So please do not kill yourself, because you feel guilty.
Feelings are powerful. They can cause us so much trouble, yet if we get scared or stressed, we always try to make them go away. But they do not disappear. They do not go away with a fight. They do not go away because you fight the fight. Feeling sad or scared makes us not feel good about ourselves, and not take care of ourselves, so we feel guilty, and then we fight to stop the feeling.
I don’t know about you, but I do not want to fight that feeling. I am not going to kill myself to feel good. The person I was is dead. I was fighting with the cancer, and I did not feel good. When I fight now, I feel good. I feel powerful. I feel in control. I feel in control because I am giving the feeling its rightful place.

I would rather fight the feeling and let it go. Fight to feel better and have the feeling go away than fight for my life. I would rather fight the feeling and be ready, then fight for my life and feel bad about it.
